2022 PARK RANGER OF THE YEARThe Florida Park Service Ranger Association congratulates Mara Dombrowski for being selected as the 2022 Statewide Park Ranger of the Year. This new award recognizes exceptional Florida Park Service employees who exemplify the Ranger First attitude; Service to the land and to the public who use the land and Service Above Self. Ms. Dombrowski is the Assistant Program Manager in Interpretive Services where she provides leadership for division statewide training including Ranger Academy, Park Managers, and, Assistant Park Managers Meeting and Administrative Workshops. She uses her excellent organizational and project management skills to provide Ranger First service through consistent, clear communication and resources to central office and field staff on various key initiatives. Her ability to adapt and adjust while keeping her eye on each task resulted in success for the Florida Park Service. Her frequent and detailed communication with the field staff, leadership, and contractors were in true Ranger First spirit. Ms. Dombrowski consistently demonstrates the Ranger First attitude, and we are honored to present her with the inaugural Park Ranger of the Year Award for 2022. Ms. Dombrowski was selected for this award from the top finalist in each district and the central office. The district finalists include Bryan Kaczmarek - District 1, Kate Spratt - District 2, Stephanie York - District 3, David Baniak - District 4, and Mary DiGiacomo-Brown – District 5. Each of these finalists is exceptional and deserving of recognition for their Ranger First service. Congratulations to each of you. |
