2018 ANNUAL GATHERING

Come join us for the fun & fellowship during our Annual Gathering.  The Florida Park Service Alumni Association will gather at Anastasia State Park to explore the park, spin some yarns, raise some money for the organization through the Arnold Kuenzler and Family Annual Auction, cover some necessary business and have a good time.   You don’t have to be a member to attend but once you see what good deeds the organization performs you will want to join.

Don’t forget to bring your items and your money for the auction.  Auction items should be new, handmade or collectable items.  This is the FPSAA’s biggest fundraiser for the James Cook Memorial Relief Fund, which directly benefits current and retired FPS staff. 

Friday, April 6

1:00 pm - Park Program/Field Trip (see what's happening at Anastasia State Park)

3:00 pm - Board Meetings for James Cook Memorial Fund and FPSAA

6:00 pm - Pot Luck Dinner and Socializing – Bring a dish to share (plates, utensils and drinks provided) - Anastasia Watersports Building

Saturday, April 7 - (all activities at St. Augustine Amphitheater)

9:00 am - Registration & get re-acquainted – Light breakfast provided by FPSAA Board

9:30 am - Annual Business Meeting: Elections

12:00 pm - 2:00 pm - Lunch, visiting & Silent Auction

2:30 pm - 4:30 pm - Arnold Kuenzler and Family Annual Auction

6:00 pm - Dinner

7:30 pm - Program (TBD)

Overnight Accommodations

Campsites- A number of campsites are blocked for the FPSAA Annual Gathering. Standard rates apply, since this is not a work day. Please call or email Melanie Wright at 904-461-2002 or by March 30 to reserve your campsite.  After March 30th the sites will be made available to the public. The sites vary in size so please provide your rig size when making your reservation. If emailing include FPS Alumni Association in the subject line so Melanie will know you are with the FPSAA.

Motel -Ten rooms (double queen) have been reserved for FPSAA at Sleep Inn St. Augustine  601 Anastasia Blvd at a rate of $96.95 per night. (It is the busy season). Reservations are under the name of FPS Alumni Association. To make a reservation call the hotel at 904-825-4535 and have them change the reservation to your name.

Advance Registration:

Saturday Lunch – $8 for age 13 to adult and $5 for kids 6 to 12.  5 and under free

Saturday Dinner – $15 for age 13 to adult and $6 for kids 6 to 12.  5 and under free

Onsite Registration:

Saturday Lunch – $10 for age 13 to adult and $5 for kids 6 to 12.  5 and under free

Saturday Dinner – $18 for age 13 to adult and $6 for kids 6 to 12.  5 and under free
